I am honored to have contributed 70 ceramic vessels to Queen City, a permanent public art installation in Arlington, Virginia that honors the once-thriving Black neighborhood of Queen City. I was commissioned along with 17 other ceramic artists to create 903 vessels, acknowledging and honoring the 903 individuals who once lived there.
I love sharing my passion for ceramics with others. I've taught pottery at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art and Mud Matters, and have shared my experiences as Camille at the Wheel in podcasts and other media.
I can't say I'd have ever guessed that ceramics would lead to modeling, but the universe works in mysterious ways. From Starbucks Reserve Roastery to Hannah Blount Jewelry to a secret new ad campaign arriving in Summer 2023.
